Coming home from holiday to find the sunshine is a novelty we don’t always enjoy in this country.  In fact, it’s fair to say that it’s currently hotter here than it was where I’ve been, sunny Funchal!    In coming back, like the rest of us, I’ve also had to […]

    take your yoga outside

    Did you know?

Yoga helps improve physical and mental health, teaching us to release tension in body and mind, while improving physical and mental flexibility. I'm feeling grateful for the warm reception I received at Twyford's Ladies Who Latte monthly meeting as I talked about Yoga Therapy for health and wellbeing and took everyone through a practice to re-connect with the energy of the heart. Self-care is always important, but perhaps now more so than ever.If you breathe (we all do), Yoga Therapy can help. No experience of yoga required and age, flexibility (or a lack of it!) are no barriers! So, if you're stressed or anxious (there's a lot of this around right now) or perhaps have health issues you're struggling to manage, please get in touch to explore how Yoga Therapy can help you bettter manage your health and wellbeing. Call me to for a chat on 07867 504539 or email sarah@swan-yoga.co.uk More details are on the link below.Love & lightSarah xswan-yoga.co.uk/yoga-therapy/ ... See MoreSee Less

I'd like to invite you again to join me free of charge for another deep relaxation (or yoga nidra) on Thursday, 25 February, from 6-7pm via Zoom. Lockdown continues to affect us all in different ways, bringing unwanted challenges and stresses which affect both our physical and mental health and yoga relaxation is very helpful in supporting your wellbeing. If you're calmer, less tired, more grounded and relaxed, you are likely to be better able to cope with everything that's happening in your life right now.Yoga relaxation helps you:• to release the physical and muscular tensions you hold in your body. • to relax emotional tensions, which are often unhelpful and deep rooted, to enable you to find a level of calm and equilibrium. • to calm the constant and excessive mental activity, which creates stress, affecting your ability to think clearly and cope with daily life. All the details are on the link.
