Life’s challenges
I have been contemplating how life’s challenges mean that we experience a vast array of differing emotions.
We may be happy and joyful, sad, tearful , angry or in pain, hurt or fearful; the list is endless.
From my own experience, I know we can allow these emotions to dominate our life to the extent that we cannot see who we truly are and what is really happening in our lives.
So, rather than allow our minds to weave dramas in our heads, we can try another way and seek to bring more awareness into our lives and be more mindful of what is really happening. Yoga has helped me do this.
I offer you a quotation from the great yoga teacher, BKS Iyengar:
“Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.”
