spring is here – open your body and mind


A very beautiful spring afternoon.  16 degrees here in Berkshire!

The blue open sky reminds usof the opportunity to open and stretch the body.  A strong breeze and fresh air, which reminds us of the need to breathe well.  Being out in the natural world allows us to connect with our own essential being, our inner spirit.

Everyone can find this inner quiet and peace.  Find time in your own hectic world for a bit of time for you.  Go for a meditative walk out in the countryside – away from the hustle and bustle of the town and the city.  Watch the trees coming into bud, listen to the birds, watch the wildlife.  Allow yourself to marvel in the beauty of nature and let the thinking mind go quiet.

In our hectic lives, it’s so beneficial for the body, the mind and the spirit to find some time just to be, to look after and enhance our own wellbeing.   This is what yoga helps us learn to access: to be in the moment, to become acquainted better with our body, to quieten our mind and to let our spirit soar.    And, if you like the idea of yoga and what it can bring and want to know more, let me know.
